Privacy notice

Mise is software that event agencies use to plan and run their events. When an agency uses Mise, the agency decides what information goes in and how it is used. For that information, we act on the agency's behalf.

• Account details for agency team members: name, email, role and sign-in information.
• Event information an agency adds: clients, partners, guests, contacts, files, budgets and notes.
• Details you send through our contact form, so we can reply, with how you first found us (a campaign tag or the referring site, kept in your browser until you send the form).
• Feedback you send from inside Mise, with the page you were on.
• Basic technical information needed to run the service securely, such as IP address and browser type.

• To provide the service: showing the right information to the right people, and sending the notifications an agency turns on.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to stop abuse.
• To reply to you when you contact us.

When a team member asks Mise AI a question, the relevant event details they are allowed to see are sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. We don't use your agency's information to train our own models.

In agency workspaces we use product analytics (PostHog) to learn which features are used, such as how often the event map is opened or how quickly clients answer approvals. Events are linked to a team member's account id and their agency, and never include event names, guest names, emails, phone numbers or private links. Analytics stores an identifier in your browser's local storage and a first-party cookie, and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. It is off in the public demo.

We use an error-monitoring service (Sentry) to find and fix crashes. Error reports include the page path, browser type and technical details of the error, with emails, phone numbers and private link tokens removed before they leave your device or our servers.

We don't use advertising cookies or sell this data. Sign-in uses strictly necessary cookies.

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, such as hosting, database, email, messaging, analytics, error-monitoring and AI providers, and only as needed to provide it.

Clients and partners of an agency only see what that agency chooses to share with them through private links.

Each agency's information is kept separate and access is limited by role. Read more on our security page.

We keep agency information while the agency uses Mise. When an agency leaves, we can provide an export and then delete its workspace. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to follow up.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. If your information was added by an agency, please contact that agency first; we'll help them respond.
