Roles and permissions
Decide who can see costs and margins, edit settings or manage billing.
Each teammate has one role. Mise ships with Owner, Producer, Coordinator, Finance and Freelancer, and owners can edit them or add their own.
- Open Settings → Roles & permissions (owners only).
- Pick a role to see what it can do, or choose New role.
- Toggle permissions such as seeing costs (budgets, quotes and margins), managing settings, managing billing and managing the team.
- Save. Changes apply to everyone with that role the next time they load a page.
Tip: Keep cost access to finance and producers. Coordinators still see vendors and tasks, just not your margin.
